October Concert

Went to the Joe Satriani concert back in October 2008 with my brother.

Was a great night. We got backstage meet and greet passes for before the show.

Spring 2008 Guitar Center

April 2008 Guitar Center had a think going on where Joe Satriani was heading to some of there stores to doing a Q&A session and mini show. Where afterwards you could get your picture taken ans get items signed.
Had to drive down to Washington DC area to do it, but what a great day.
Went down with Tracy and made a day out of it.

Date Set

As my wife and friends know I'm a huge fan of Ewan McGregor's trip/ series Long Way Round. In which he and his best mate Charlie to a trip from London to NY by heading east on their motorcycles. If you have never caught it, it's just about the most amazing thing I have ever seen on TV. So, after many time of watching it and still amazed each time, I've decided to make my own trip. So as of now I have made the date of July 1st 2011 to make my trip around the USA.

Going to head out from home here in Butler and head out to Seattle, LA, Key West, Maine and back again. I'm hoping to do it in 4 weeks or less. Right now I have it planned to do this with my brother. We are really looking forward to doing this trip. So when it comes time we will be posting updates and pictures from the road for all of our friends and family to check up on.

One of my favorite things to do.

I've always loved hitting the road on two wheels. In High School it was cycling ( I still enjoy it when I get the time).


Then about 10 years ago I bought my first motorcycle. It was an old Yamaha YZ125 dirt bike that with help from my buddy Dave we fixed up and hit the trails.


After a while I wanted to get a road bike so I dumped the dirt bike got my license and bought a Suzuki SV650s in 2004. I had such a great time with that bike. But it was a little hard on the body. I'm not as young or in as good of shape as I used to be. So, I traded it in on a new 2007 BMW F650GS.

This thing rides like a dream. If I could I'd get rid of my cars and ride it all the time. I'm looking to do a cross country trip on it some time, but that's for another post.

Intro

Ok , I know a lot of my friends have setup their own blogs over the last few years and I've put off creating my own.

So I thought I'd break down and create one.

You will not find the cure to all of the worlds problems here. Just a little background on me, the people and things I love and hold close to me.
